During these testing, and surreal, times everyone at APS is working extra hard to keep things running as normal as possible. We have a strong team and a solid strategy. One of the key pillars of our strategy is to enable digitization in the School at all levels. We see Coronavirus lockdown as an opportunity to execute on this strategy. To this end, we have set an ambitious target: to deliver online classes to all our students. We have made great progress.
- Throughout this week, our entire staff has been connected to each other to create a virtual, remote, office working environment.
- Normal working hours have resumed albeit with staff working from home but constantly connected.
- Timetables and lesson planning is completed.
- Teachers guidebooks write ups are under process.
- New staff members have joined the team and started to work on their lesson plans.
The BIG PRIZE for us is to deliver our first ONLINE CLASSES from 6th April. We have conducted test classes already and further lessons are planned for Monday. We want all out students to join these live classes with their usual tutors – as if School is open again. In order to do so, we would like everyone to have fast internet connectivity and a smart device. Over the next week we will give further instructions on next steps. So watch this space.
For next week, we will conduct test lessons in Maths, English and Science for classes 1,3,7 and 8. For those who wish to attend please contact your respective tutors for further details.
Onwards and Upwards.
