Schools are scheduled to reopen in first week of September. APS had planned fully for this delay. We are pioneers in Pakistan for innovative and live online classes; which were a huge success.

Further to our last memo, on 10th May APS leadership held the 7th meeting of Coronavirus Nerve Centre Organisation. The purpose of meeting was to assess the latest situation and determine the best course of action.

On 6th April we launched live online classes and in the past 5 days we have had 24 students attending full day lessons in classes Nursery to 8. The results of live online classes have been fantastic. Kids are focused, interested and keen to learn using new technology. They are given live learning experience and given usual home work. Our tutors are well prepared and trained to make the best use of this time.

During these testing, and surreal, times everyone at APS is working extra hard to keep things running as normal as possible. We have a strong team and a solid strategy. One of the key pillars of our strategy is to enable digitization in the School at all levels. We see Coronavirus lockdown as an opportunity to execute on this strategy. To this end, we have set an ambitious target: to deliver online classes to all our students.

We are pleased to announce that the winter vacation has been extended till 5 January 2020. APS will reopen on Monday the 6 January. Parents/carers are requested to ensure regular attendance and punctuality of their children as we have a lot of course work to catch up on and so therefore cannot afford to lose time.
