Everyone at Ali Public School & College abides by 8 core values.

Kindness

An act of kindness is a spontaneous gesture of goodwill towards someone or something – our fellow humans, the animal kingdom, and the kingdom of nature. Kind words and deeds come from a state of benevolence, generated by a core response deep within all of us.

Responsibility

A responsibility is something you’re required to do as an upstanding member of the school. If you’re in a class, it’s your responsibility to learn the lessons and show up to practice on time.

Integrity

Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. It is generally a personal choice to uphold oneself to consistent moral and ethical standards. In ethics, integrity is regarded by many people as honesty and truthfulness.

Selflessness

Selfless is the opposite of selfish. If you’re selfless, you think less about your self, and more about others — you’re generous and kind. Being selfless is similar to being altruistic — another word for giving to others without looking for personal gain.

Personal Industry

Being hard working by displaying diligence in labouring and putting effort into doing and completing tasks.

Resilience

Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats or significant sources of stress — such as family and relationship problems, serious health problems or work stress. It means “bouncing back” from difficult experiences.

Initiative

Initiative is the power or ability to begin or to follow through energetically with a plan or task; enterprise and determination.  By taking right initiatives you can overcome various hurdles in your life.

Moral Courage

Moral courage is a highly esteemed trait displayed by individuals who are capable of making the distinction between right and wrong and who, despite adversity and personal risk, always stand for what is right.
